At Purton Vets, we are able to provide a complete range of surgical and medical procedures including dermatology, cardiology, medicine, diagnostic imaging, cytology, clinical pathology, soft tissue, orthopaedic and keyhole surgery. We have visiting specialists in orthopaedics. We hospitalise patients and monitor them according to their individual needs. We put the patient first and will refer patients if required rather than "have a go" if we don't have the skills available in the practice. Our clinical services include:

Out of hours emergency and critical care service provided by Vets Now

We offer 15 minute appointment slots as standard which is twice as long as the industry average. The extra time we offer is a reflection of our level of service and the need to offer your pet the best care possible when it's ill and needs diagnosis. We like to be thorough and have time to listen. Our preventative healthcare consists of:

Vet and Nurse consultations 6 days a week
Annual health assessment and vaccination
Dental health assessments and range of dental treatments
Microchip Identification
Weight loss programs and nutritional advice
A range of quality pet products and pet food
Breeding advice and pregnancy testing

Keyhole surgery results in less pain, faster recovery and is safer.

We are one of the few vets in the UK that can offer this specialist surgery for:

Exploration of the abdomen

On a case by case basis, we offer specialist Orthopaedic Surgery and Arthroscopy provided by Rata Vet or VOST.

We can provide you and your pet with access to a network of specialists, if we don't provide a particular service.
