Our initial dental procedure includes up to 90 min anaesthetic, intravenous support (if required), oral health assessment, charting, full mouth dental x-rays, and professional cleaning. This provides information that helps us decide if any other treatments are needed. Other treatments are like extractions and would be charged seperately.

We include all the following in our operations:

  • We can monitor ECG, blood pressure, oxygen levels, body temperature, carbon dioxide levels, pulse and respiration. Our patients are kept warm under anaesthetic using a specialist patient heating system and are constantly monitored by a qualified person.
  • Our bitch spay includes: a pre-operative health assessment, hospitalisation, intravenous catheter, intravenous fluids (drip), multiple pain killers before and during the operation, anaesthesia, surgery and all post operative assessments until full recovery. Painkillers to take home at no extra cost.
  • Our dog castration includes: a pre-operative health assessment, hospitalisation, intravenous catheter, multiple pain killers before and during the operation, anaesthesia, surgery and all post operative assessments until full recovery. Painkillers to take home at no extra cost.
  • Our cat castration and spay includes: a pre-operative health assessment, hospitalisation, intravenous catheter, multiple pain killers before and during the operation, gold standard anaesthesia and anaesthetic monitoring, surgery and all post operative assessments until full recovery. 24 hours pain relief at home.
  • Our rabbit spay includes a pre-operative health assessment, hospitalisation, intravenous catheter, intravenous fluids, multiple pain killers during the operation, anaesthesia, surgery and all post operative assessments until full recovery.  
  • Your pets are cared for by registered veterinary nurses who monitor the anaesthetic and look after them in recovery (we do not use unregistered or unqualified "nurses").

Notes

Prescriptions are available on request and require regular health assessments. The first drug costs £30.00 and any additional drug on the same prescription costs £18.50. Patients are required to have a repeat health examination at least every 3-6 months (depending on the patient's stability and the type of medication) and we will provide up to 3 months medication per prescription
