Partnership in lifelong care
Located in the village of Purton and Cricklale, Purton Veterinary Group is a family practice priding itself on offering a level of client and patient care second to none.
The practice was established in 1985 as a mixed farm and small animal practice. Graeme Pack joined as clinical director in 2002 and the practice then specialised in companion animals. Graeme took over the practice in 2007 and with the help of an experienced team the practice has continued to grow and develop and excellent reputation for client and patient care.
We offer a full range of veterinary services in our well-equipped Purton clinic including surgery, medicine, x-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy and hospital facilities. We are enrolled in the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme which means we volunteer to have our facilities, patient care and standards inspected regularly. We have separate waiting areas and wards for dogs and cats, and we are trained in how to minimise stress and fear in our patients.
With Graeme still at the helm, the practice joined Independent Vetcare Ltd in 2012, a group of practices that use their combined scale to keep the cost of pet care as reasonable as possible, while still maintaining high standards. We continue to invest in both facilities and diagnostic equipment as well as the continuing education of the team of vets, nurses and support staff.
We are all pet owners ourselves and we want to provide you with the level of care that we expect for our own pet families.
