Born and bread in Wales, I qualified in 2002 after a deciding at a very young age I wanted to be a vet and like many other I was influenced by TV Vet James Herriot.
Once qualified I began my career in West Yorkshire before moving to Berkshire and then relocating here in Swindon. At home I am joined by the lovely Bengal cat Otis. I also have Darwin, a lazy Bearded Dragon and seven corn snakes.
In my spare time I like to keep active and once represented Wales in a show jumping team. Nowadays I enjoy travelling, reading, heading to the gym and of course I am a passionate Welsh rugby fan.
Having owned a cat who is displeased with coming to the vets I appreciate and understand the importance of a stress-free visit for all involved. Here at Purton we are a Cat Friendly Clinic, this means we strive to make the experience for each cat as stress-free as possible. By being appointed as the cat friendly vet advocate it is my job to ensure our high standards of handling and care are maintained. I look forward to meeting your feline friends soon!
