To all the wonderful staff at Purton Vets. Thank you so much for your outstanding support this summer during all Kane's & Alfie's problems. You always had time to explain and nothing was too much trouble. I can only highly recommend your services. Your care and attention is second to none.

I would definitely recommend Purton Vets to anyone who wanted the best treatment and care which Graeme and the team provide. On each occasion I am more than satisfied with how Odey my Manchester Terrier is always remembered. He's the best at behaving during his appointments! I know if I had to move I'd be lucky to find a practice as dedicated and personable.

To Dearest Graeme and his wonderful staff,

I'm writing to you to let you know how much I appreciate what you did for me on December 15th 2008.  I found a cat in my street that was all fur and bones that when I picked her up all I felt was ribs and a spine.  I tried the local vet's I thought that keeping her close to were she was found would be good.  They were not happy to help and I walked out with the feeling they didn't believe me.  I'm sure they thought it was my cat and that I didn't want it anymore! I love animals and felt totally disgusted.  So I rang your practice and spoke to Graeme who said with no apprehension bring her in immediatly so I did.  I rang the next day to see if she was ok, I was told she was a female cat and that you may have managed to trace her owner.  I was so excited so I rang later and was told her name was Jess, she had been missing for over 2 months.  I suppose looking back now we have bins and she couldn't fend for herself, which meant she hadn't eaten properly for over 2 months.   It was also brought to light that the vets I first went to was her own vets so why didn't alarm bells ring, it makes me angry!! Its nice to know that there are nice people about and you are totally dedicated in saving animals lives.

Dear Graeme, I would like to thank you and Rachel and all the staff at the practice for their care of Harriet over the last 16 years. Sadly, Harriet died on 11th January 2009. You were very kind, understanding and professional during a very difficult time for me. You provided advise and time for me to come to terms with the bad news and also time for me to decide when to let go. Rachel kindly provided me with some of Harriet's beautiful coat, which I will treasure with the cherished memories I have of her. I now have Harriet back at home, and can talk to her as she rests in peace. The surgery did everything I asked with empathy and care. Thank you. R I P my beautiful Harriet. Thank you for everything you have done for us all so far - I would recommend Purton Vets to everyone!  Fingers crossed that our babies don't need to come to you too often!

Mr and Mrs Jones & all the cats

It's a BIG thank you for the diagnosis and treatment for Sox's serious condition.  You'll be glad to know she's doing well: eating lots, wanting to go for walks, barking madly at the postman!  We realise she was in a very bad way at several points and we're very lucky she came through it.

Dear Purton Vets
Could you please pass on my sincere thanks to all at your practice for the way in which you treated Jake (and supported us) on the 9th April.

From the moment we arrived at the surgery, throughout my time at both Cricklade and Purton, Jake was treated with consideration, patience, respect and care.  I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and professionalism.  Although there was nothing that could be done for him. I had the constant confidence that his care and quality of life was your primary concern.

Although as a practice you had only seen Jake 3 - 4 times during his 13 years registered with you, you treated him like a returning friend rather than a casual aquaintance.

I spent many weeks choosing a veterinary practice for my dogs and these events simply prove my choice of Purton Vets was the best I could have made.

To Graeme and his wonderful staff I can't thank you enough for saving my cat Barneys life who I rushed in unable to breath.  I later found out this was because of his lungs being full of blood due to a bad heart that was undetectable, and still is he is a totally new cat.  I can't thank you and your staff enough thanks once again your the best

ps. when are you branching out and doing us humans?

We have been clients of the practice for over 20 years.  My first thought when I came to Minety was to find a good vet for my Siamese, a red point called Solomon. Secondly, I looked for a hair dresser, GP & dentist. Since 1992, We have bred and shown Siamese cats; it's vital for us to have a vet that we can trust completely.  Graeme and his staff never fail to provide clinical excellence, reliable advice & friendship.

Gill, Mike & the cat family

You all certainly live up to "a partnership in lifelong care". Duffy was with you from a puppy to a lovely old lady, and beyond, and I thank for your 15 years of care and understanding.  Again may thanks.

As a hobby breeder of Yorkies and Maltese I have had my share of trials and tragedies. Without exception, everyone in the practice has always been caring and compasionate to both myself and my dogs. There has never been a time that I have doubted the expert advice and treatment I have been offered by all of the staff at Purton Group. To Graham and all your 'family' although we always hope we don't see you often, we know how we will be treated when we do see you. Many thanks from sheena and the 'Auchmuir' Yorkies and Maltese

My husband and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the very personal and delicate way you dealt with our dear Golden Retreiver Tally on his visits to the surgery and especially on Friday.

We appreciated the time you gave to talk to us both, reassuring us in the decision we had to make was the correct and the best way out for Tally, this helped a great deal.

Your Personal approach to such a delicate situation was to be admired, I will always remember how kind and thoughtful you were to Tally in his last moments.  Graeme we have the deepest admiration for you and your staff for your wonderful dedication in looking after our pets and for the comfort you give to their owners at sad times.

I just wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone at Purton and Cricklade vets and all at Great Western Referrals for taking such good care of my bunny Jemima. I was very greatful for all the help and support both my husband and I received during the time Jemima was with yourselves. We were kept well informed all throughout the investigation in to her periods when she was unwell and reassured as at times which were very worrying. We were given a first class service throughout - something all over vets should aspire to! Thanks again for aiding Jemima to her recovery.
