Our Practice Manager, Amber Dunham, went along to Glendora - The Ashton Keynes Canine Hydrotherapy Centre with one of our patients, Macaskin, to see what all the excitement was about.   Macaskin has been visiting Glendora for a swimming session three times a week since November. An open evening for Purton and Lydiard Cub Pack was held recently as part of their Community Challenge. In order to gain their community challenge badge the cubs had to explore an aspect of how the local community works and is organised to the benefit of its members.    15 cubs attended the evening and we rotated through 2 groups, with one group exploring the veterinary practice, while the other group discussed and learnt about the needs of their different
 
Hi.  I'm Jim, the practice cat.  I came to the surgery in 2007 when a kind human found me and thought I looked a bit worse for wear so brought me to the nice people here at Purton Vets as I had lost my way home. I was really skinny when I arrived and they took me in and kept me in one of their nice warm kennels with a comfy bed.   They fed me lots of good food
